Greenberg Smoked Turkey Inc. is nearing completion on a new shipping and freezer facility after a fire and series of explosions severely damaged its storage facilities in November, 2021. The incident forced the company to shut down operations just weeks before Thanksgiving and Christmas, their busiest time of year.
Kinzler Construction Services, Home of Garland & Jones Insulation, was hired to insulate the massive cold storage facility using closed-cell spray foam. Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) is one of the best and most durable insulation products on the market. Kinzler installed eight-inches of spray foam on the walls and ceiling in order to keep the facility at zero degrees, 24/7 – 365 days a year, storing Greenberg’s delicious smoked turkeys.
Greenberg Smoked Turkey anticipates turkeys will be available beginning in October.
