As an employee-owned company, we are committed to responsible business practices that reduce the impact of our operations. Just last week, 106 additional solar panels were activated at the company headquarters in Ankeny, bringing our total to 708 panels. By expanding its existing solar infrastructure, the company significantly increased its capacity to harness clean and renewable energy.
Two additional Fronius inverters were installed and energy loads were shifted from the north to the south, redistributing energy usage across the facility. Ultimately, this system will generate an additional 48 kW of solar capacity, allowing us to reach net zero electricity.
Kinzler also invested in solar panels at the Denver, CO branch, bringing our operations there to net zero as well.
The company also installed two Level 2 ChargePoint dual electric vehicle chargers. These EV chargers provide a convenient and efficient way to charge electric vehicles, supporting the transition to zero-emission transportation. By offering this amenity to their employees and visitors, Kinzler Corporation is contributing to improved air quality.
